Tehran, 27 Nov. MOBNA – Mobile Company of Iran prepaid sim cards will be sold on demand after Iran Telecom 2008 is over, MCI official said.
“Currently 2,880,000 rials and 1,500,000 rials postpaid sim cards have been sold on demand. Since relevant systems have been designed and launched, prepaid sim cards will be sold on demand soon,” MCI marketing deputy Mohammad Mahdi Otoufi said.
“We have installed a Mobile Payment system in MCI stall in Iran Telecom 2008 exhibition in order to familiarize people with Mobile-payment,” he added.
“Ghasedak sim card is a MCI sim card which is used only for sending and receiving sms. The service is valuable for some people and for some trading centers who want to manage their own systems,” he said.
Ninth international exhibition of telecommunications, information technology and networking is held form 22 until 25 November in Tehran international fairground place.
