Tehran, Nov 25, MOBNA – A device that blocks Bluetooth has been manufactured for the first time in the country and has been on display at the ninth TeleCom exhibition.
The instrument can be adjusted to block Bluetooth services within a certain radius without affecting other services.
The sales manager of AfraTaab, the manufacturer, announced the device is the first of its kind in Iran and will go on sale after the exhibition.
“The equipment will cut all Bluetooth communications within a 20m radius without disturbing other services,” said Shahin Shahin-Far.
The device can be installed in mosques, classrooms, libraries, examination theaters, and places where Bluetooth technology could be misused.
He said the equipment has been designed and manufactured for a foreign company.
