If the set is original you will be given its full details.
In the section “PRIMARY MARKET” you may find the continent where the set has been manufactured.
Counterfeit handsets are made in Asia, in particular, south-east Asia.
If you are unable to purchase the set from an authorized agent, make sure you purchase it from a shop that allows you to carry out the above test, in which case you will be relatively assured the set is original.
