MCI should deliver another 900,000 sim cards before March 20, budget says

This year’s budget stipulates that MCI delivers 4.4 million sim cards during the Iranian year 1387, but so far 3.5 million sim cards have been delivered.
Of the total sim cards delivered, 3.2 million were prepaid with code 0919.
The operator delivered 9.0 million sim cards last year, nearly 8m of which were prepaid.
MCI has now 16.5 million postpaid and 11.5 million prepaid sim card subscribers.
It now delivers its 2,880,000-rial postpaid sim cards instead of 0910 code 1,500,000-rial ones which failed to attain its target.
MCI penetration rate in the country stands at 56 percent.
