BTS sites in Khorassan Razavi province topped 1,004

There are now 1.61 million Mobile Company of Iran subscribers in Khorassan Razavi province, bringing mobile phone penetration rate in that province to over 28 percent.
There are 981 digital phone centers in the province and 90 percent of its roads and highways are under mobile phone antenna coverage.
Landline phone penetration rate is 73.30 percent and there are 14 thousand telephone booths in the province.
۳,۹۶۷ villages have landline phones and 564 villages have ICT equipments.
۹ mobile phone sites were installed and were operational in mid-September this year.
It is planned that the no of BTS sites in the province will increase by 850 by the end of the current Iranian year (Mar 20, 2009).
