MCI’s 0919 sim card price increase

The cards are sold at 400,000 rial on the mobile market and those with catchy numbers are being sold as high as 600,000 rials.
Currently, new MCI postpaid sim cards for codes 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 are purchased at 5.4, 4.4, 3.4, 3.45, 3.15, 3.05 and 2.7 million rials respectively and sold 100,000-150,000 rials higher.
However, used postpaid sim cards for codes 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 are sold at 5.75, 4, 3.3, 2.5, 2.35, 2.35 and 2.2 million rials respectively.
MCI has around 28m subscribers, 11.5m of whom are prepaid sim card subscribers.
