Tehran, Nov 8, MOBNA – Network improvement is among Mobile Company of Iran’s main goals, its technical and engineering director announced.
“MCI, with its new equipments is in need of an overhaul,” Hassan Razavi said on a TV program.
He said MCI extends its stations capacities in step with network expansion, and pointed out that their BTS antennas are being installed ever closer to one other.
Razavi said so far nearly 16,000 BTS antennas have been installed countrywide.
He said 1,065 cities, more than 10 thousand villages and 37,000 km (22,000 miles) of country roads and highways are under MCI antenna coverage, and stressed that the remaining cities, villages and roads will be covered by the end of next Iranian year.
