Likely cut in MCI’s GPRS fee

“The fee is 20 percent higher for prepaid sim cards than for postpaid ones,” Mohammad-Mehi Otoufi told Mobna news agency.
He said subscribers who have connected to the internet have been able to use GPRS.
He also said the current speed is 50 kb but with the redesign of Tehran network and the move towards EDGE technology the speed will be trebled.
He said new fees for Persian and non-Persian sms messages have been applied since 10 days ago and will be accounted for in the future phone bills.
