MCI’s monthly charge for GPRS announced

MCI’s ordinary general assembly was convened in the presence of TCI managing director Saaber Feizi and Mohammad Karam-Pour and Nasser Yousef-Pour as members of the assembly board, and new tariffs for GPRS and mms were set.
The fixed monthly charge for 5,000 kb GPRS was set at 50,000 rials, and for 1 kb excess at 9 rials.
The charge for 50 kb mms was also set at 500 rials.
The new tariffs require ministry of Information and Communication Technology’s approval and consent of Radio Communication and Regulations Organizations.
RCRO is telecommunication ministrys regulatory body which sets regulation of work and issue license for phone operation.
