Commerce ministry must be logical about mobile tariff: economic expert

“Some authorities remarks about mobile sets import tariff might increase mobile sets price in the country, and the officials should speak with more thought,” Ali Sobhaninia told Mobna new agency.
“Experts say that mobile sets tariff can be less than 25 percent but for some reason this does not happen,” he added.
“Article 1 is a commission in the Commerce Ministrys commerce development organization which set the import tariffs. This commission can consult experts to see whether to increase or decrease the import tariff,” he elaborated. 
“Irans entry into World Trade Organization (WTO) will bring about a cut in all the commodities tariffs, and if a country can not adjust itself with this organization laws then it will be seriously confronted by the WTO,” he said.
“World Trade Organization laws is implementable for all countries and if a country does not decrease its tariffs after entry into WTO, then the organization will give it time to it to adjust itself with WTO,” Sobhaninia added.
